I've found that the meanest mistress, does not have to be the woman who bones you with a dildo, because she's a dominatrix. No the meanest, by far the most cruel.... Is the old hag.
Once a sweet and caring lass finally breaks. The cruelest is created. She holds a place down with fear, and rage, but does not remember these acts. She maims the emotional state with the harshest of the words she can find. All my adult life those words have been spoken at me. But this time, it was with violence and hatred. From a little old woman who had once told me that she was happy I was part of the family. She told me I was good for her granddaughter and that we matched. Now all she wants is rid of all of that, all of us.
She no longer cares for the living, hiding in her own utmost of depressed states. Talking only of her death. It's the worst state of being, and it batters the innocent.
For the old hag lost her innocence, you see, to insanity. It is in animal nature, to
want to keep others away and go die alone. Many species do so. No one is sure why, but perhaps they are tired of hurting others, or maybe their so senile to themselves they cannot see continuing to live... Whatever the reason, even in the infantile position that the old hag is in, where she cannot care, or think for herself, to even watch her favorite shows.... She shows the most violent tendencies of her life. And nothing can be done to stop her. The hag controls, until she dies, and freedom is rejoiced, and the memory of the person, while they were alive and well prevails. Because in death honor is absolute, unless in suicide or capture. Though we do not know the meaning of life or death, or even come to a common consensus on the matter, we do live, we are here. And these sorts of things happen.
Pain, and the scars they cause will eventually heal, but in the moment, they feel like an eternal weight, who cannot be measured. Crushing, and consuming. Monumentally destructive.
Time is the only savior, time is the only way out, will patience be enough?
